What We Store

  • Child’s first name and age (used to personalize the story)
  • Story preferences and generated text
  • Generated illustrations
  • The final PDF book

Where Data Is Stored

Your book data (text, images, PDF) is stored on our self-hosted servers in Switzerland. AI generation is processed by sub-processors in the USA (OpenAI, Anthropic) and, if fallback is needed, globally (Google, Cloudflare). Your child’s name is anonymized before being sent to any external provider. Payment data is processed by Stripe (USA/EU).

How Long We Keep It

  • Books and content: 12 months
  • AI prompts and raw data: 6 months
  • Notification email: 90 days after delivery

Anonymization

Before any data is sent to AI providers, your child’s name is replaced with a placeholder (e.g., "{{CHILD}}"). The AI provider never receives your child’s real name.

Deletion

You can request deletion of all your data at any time via our privacy request form. Deletion is completed within 30 days.
